THE YEAR OF FIT AS AN OX

Updated: Jan 18

Even though NYE was a little disappointing last year, it sounds like the new Chinese New Year is worth celebrating. I am calling it FIT AS AN OX...

The Year of the Ox is all about prosperity, success and good health.

The Ox is the second of 12 zodiac animals. He was second to arrive at the Jade Emporer’s party only because he was tricked by rat (2020) who took a ride on his back and raced ahead to pip him at the post.

  • Upcoming Events for Success & Good Health:

1. Speaking of finish lines, the Bridge to Beach Race is scheduled for Sunday March 21. We can hire kayaks from MKC at $40 but you will need a roof rack for transportation. Last year I dropped my kayak at the start line and left the car, then got a ferry back later to pick it. Tricky logistics but worth it! Let me know, I will be scheduling some long practice paddles shortly

2. Chocolate Night No 1, 2021: Thursday March 11, 7:30-9:30, new slightly healthy recipes.

3. The Wonders of Menopause – making it glorious!

Women’s Health Physio, Nutritional Info, Chocolate Fitness HQ (Boatshed)

Date: Thursday, April 1, 7:30-9 (tbc)

Expressions of Interest please. All welcome including blokes

  • Chocolate Fitness Schedule of Prosperity

Tuesdays: 10:30-11:30 Open Spot – This could be yours!

PT or Make your own group for Kayaking/SUP

Fitness/Assessments

Wednesday: 7:30-8:30 Earlybird Kayak Fitness

9:15-10:45 Kayak Fitness, extended paddle

Friday: 9:30-10:30 Tin Can Bootcamp at Little Manly

Saturday: 8:30-10:30 Kayak Fitness, extended paddle

A Word about Kayak Bookings:

As we only have a limited number of white kayaks (10), for fairness, we have a TeamApp booking system so the first 10 bookings are guaranteed a white kayak. This requires a TeamApp account to be set up and the App downloaded. I can send you instructions if you need them.

Finally, there seems to be a real sense of moving forward in the air so I am going to begin putting some wheels in motion for a little Chocolate Fitness trip. Anyone fancy Lord Howe in May?

As always, thank you all for your ongoing support.

Regards,

B
